Majorca Nightlife
Majorca's feast of nightlife options is world-renowned, and attracts thousands of holidaymakers every year. There are plenty of lively clubs if that's your scene, but there's much more to Majorca - with every kind of taste catered for. Goodfellas Avenida de Tortoa, Alcudia. Open 7 days, 9pm- 4am. Very popular music bar with an outside terrace for dancing. Drinks offers until 10.30pm with 1 pound a pint and 2 pounds for a mixer and spirit.
Menta Disco Avenida Tucan, Alcudia. Open 7 days from 11pm to extremely late. A lot of the places in Alcudia are music bars but this is the biggest club. There is a swimming pool and podiums and the musical emphasis is on House and Garage. Entrance prices vary depending on the night, expect to pay a lot more for the biggest parties.
The Jokers c/ de la Tortoa, Alcudia Open 7 days until 4am. This is a big Irish pub that wouldn't look out of place in any Dublin side street. It's all bare wood and beer pumps.
The Sportsman Avinguda Miramar 18, Arenal. Open 7 days until 2/3am. Tina, Richie and Chris from Liverpool run this friendly English pub on the seafront. They offer Sky sports, a pool table and karaoke and quizzes at night. There's a big breakfast available and bar snacks all day.
Jinjers C/Joaquim Verdaguer, Arenal. Open 8pm-4/5am 7 days. This basement club where they play alternative pop and chilled House. There's a snug room with beanbags and cushions and beer is cheap.
Megapark C/Trasime. Open 8pm till late. This is Arenal's biggest disco/club. It's got dance floors, a Jacuzzi and attracts large crowds.
Hollywood Bar Cala Egos, Cala D'or. Open morning until late. A great bar where the kids are catered for too. There are videos, Playstations and a mini disco for the young ones, while for mums and dads there's plenty of drinks on the menu.They also have the latest Hollywood films showing.
Maba Hay Avenguda Belgica, Cala D'or Open 7pm-4/5am. Very busy cocktail bar selling drinks in hollowed out pineapples and coconuts with straws that are so long that you can lean back in your chair while drinking your cocktail on the table.
Plaza Cafe c/Pedro Vaquer, Magalluf. A quieter pub/lounge type of place for people who want to hear what other people are saying. There's live music from 10-1am every night on piano and vocals.
Mulligans c/Punta Balena, Magalluf. Open 2pm-6am. The official pre club bar for Bananas disco, it's always loud and busy, but that's why people go there. Drinks offers are on all through the week.

Bananas is constantly full of people enjoying party nights like Beach
Party, Retro Night and The Full Monty Night.
As you'd expect from a holiday island like Majorca, there's a huge amount of entertainment options to enjoy during your stay.
Auditori D'alcudia Placa de la Porta de Mallorca, Alcudia. Tel: 971 89 71 85. This is the main centre for cultural activity in Alcudia. There is a changing programme of music and theatre throughout the year. Contact the tourist information office, Passeig Maritimo. Tel 971 54 72 57 for details.
Cinema c/ de Pollentia, Alcudia. Showing normal Hollywood films but a month or so after their release. They're often dubbed but if they are in English it will say VO (version original) on the advert.
The Pirates Adventure Cami de Sa Porrassa, Magalluf. Open Tuesday to Friday from April to October. Show between 8-midnight. An all singing all dancing dinner and show that gets fantastic reviews. The price includes the entertainment and the meal. Great for a night of entertainment.
Claustre De Santa Domingo, Pollenca This is the venue for classical musicians of international standing. For last year's 40th anniversary concert the Berlin Philharmonic Quartet performed among others.
